It's not like I have anything against animals or the organizations that advocate for them ,but at what point do we offer forgiveness to people who have done their time either literally or in the court of public opinion?
This entire article is because I received an email asking me to sign a Change.org petition against Vick's participation in the Pro Bowl as an honorary team captain. Currently there are over 200,000 signatures demanding that the NFL remove Michael Vick as a Pro Bowl captain.
I really don't even have the energy to go into how "Cancel Culture" seems to affect minorities and liberals at a higher propensity then it does other people. If you get the time to think about it and do a tally then get back to me with your findings.
The bottom line is that Michael Vick has literally served prison time, donated and volunteered to groups like the Humane Society and the ASPCA. Meanwhile!
